Off topic.
I purchased, composed notes for, and signed four condolences cards this weekend. (I probably have signed that many in my life, previously). All unrelated to each other, and to me - distinguished professional colleagues and executives who I know to greater or lesser degrees. (No sympathies necessary to me.)
While I will not discuss any specifics of course, the overall lesson remains top of mind for days now:
life is short. cherish the moments and the loved ones you have.
